TERMS AND CONDITIONS
RESERVATION - MODIFICATION AND CANCELLATION
The company WEDO COACHING ET CONSEIL, operating the “SURF AND RISE” brand, this name is used for the terms of the contract below to designate the company.
ARTICLE 1 - MODIFICATION
1.1 MODIFICATION AT THE INITIATIVE OF THE CLIENT
Any request from the Customer to modify his reservation must be sent by email to SURF AND RISE at the following address:contact@surfandrise.com
Any modification is subject to SURF AND RISE's agreement and to existing availability. If it is impossible to make the desired modification, the initial contract will then remain applicable.
The date used to define the modification deadline entailing the costs below will be the working day following receipt of the modification request.
Any modification of reservation not validated by SURF AND RISE (change of room, type of reservation, or any activity or element not included in the sale price at the time of the reservation) cannot result in a refund, even partial, without the prior agreement from SURF AND RISE, before, during and after the stay.
1.1.1. Fees in the event of a change request.
The change fee is €150.
1.2. CHANGES INITIATED BY SURF AND RISE
In the event of modification of one of the elements of the contract by SURF AND RISE, only the destination, the price and the dates can be considered, by express agreement between the parties, as being essential elements of the contract.
Therefore, without this change being considered as affecting an essential element of the contract that could justify compensation or cancellation of the customer, accommodation or a restaurant may be replaced by an establishment of the same category or of a higher category and the itinerary of a circuit may be modified to ensure quality services at least equivalent to the services initially agreed.
ARTICLE 2 - CANCELLATION
2.1. CANCELLATION AT THE CLIENT'S INITIATIVE
Any customer request for the cancellation of his reservation must be sent by email to SURF AND RISE at the following address: contact@surfandrise.com
Any activity planned in the program and not consumed (for personal or medical reasons) cannot be the subject of a specific commercial gesture.
The date used to define the cancellation period entailing the costs below will be the working day following receipt of the cancellation request.
In the event of cancellation, insurance is not refundable and must be added to the amount of the cancellation costs.
2.1.1. Fees in the event of cancellation
The customer can terminate the contract at any time before the trip. The reason for the cancellation must be given to SURF AND RISE.
If the customer terminates the travel contract or if he does not participate in the trip, SURF AND RISE may demand compensation for the steps taken and for the costs incurred.
Cancellation costs for tourist services without air transport as a % of the total amount of the trip:
If the stay is confirmed:

more than 60 days before departure: 30% of the amount of the stay + administration fees

between 60 and 30 days of departure: 50% of the amount of the stay + administration fees

less than 30 days before the departure date or no-show: 100% of the stay + administration fees
The stay is not yet confirmed:

0% + administration fees offered
*The administrative costs of elevating at a fixed rate of 25 euros including tax.
Not being a case of force majeure (article 1218 of the civil code), the participant cannot claim a refund or any compensation.
2.2. CANCELLATION BY SURF AND RISE
SURF AND RISE has the possibility of terminating the contract at any time, before the start of the service. If SURF AND RISE must cancel a departure for any reason whatsoever, those already registered will be fully reimbursed, without being able to claim any compensation.
If an insufficient number of participants are registered on a departure, SURF AND RISE may cancel the trip no later than 21 days before departure.
In the event of cancellation, (including for health reasons) SURF AND RISE will reimburse the customer for all sums paid by the customer when booking, excluding all others.
All costs previously incurred by the customer, such as visa costs, transport costs, pre and post delivery (purchase of rail, sea or other air transport tickets), vaccination costs, insurance, etc., cannot give give rise to any reimbursement or compensation.
In addition to the reimbursement of the stay, SURF AND RISE will not be liable for any additional compensation, if the termination of the contract occurs in the following two cases:

Number of people not reached
The number of people registered for the trip or stay is less than the minimum number indicated in the contract. In this case, SURF AND RISE notifies the Customer by email or by post of the termination of the contract within the period set by the contract, according to the following schedule:
- 21 (twenty) days before the start of the trip or stay in the case of trips whose duration exceeds six days;
- 7 (seven) days before the start of the trip or stay in the case of trips lasting from two to six days;
- 48 (forty-eight) hours before the start of the trip or stay in the case of trips lasting no more than two days;

Force majeure
SURF AND RISE is prevented from performing the contract due to exceptional and unavoidable circumstances. In this case, SURF AND RISE notifies the traveler by email or in writing of the termination of the contract as soon as possible before the start of the trip or stay.
If the number of participants is less than the minimum number required, SURF AND RISE may offer the Customer to maintain the trip in return for a "small group" increase in the initial price. The possible additional cost of this "small group" formula will be communicated to the Customer who can accept or refuse it.
ARTICLE 3 - TRIP INTERRUPTION
3.1. INTERRUPTION OF THE TRIP OR STAY BY THE CUSTOMER
Any trip or stay interrupted or shortened or any service not consumed whatever the cause, except in cases of force majeure as defined in article 2.2 above or the fact of SURF AND RISE or one of its service providers, will give rise to no reimbursement, even in the event of repatriation.
